Happy Throwback Thursday! It’s the first day of school for New York City public schools, so we dug through the Museum’s archives to find an image that fit the occasion: here’s a picture from 1969 of a student using a microscope in our Natural Science Center. The Museum has long been the place for curious pupils to visit and learn more about the natural world. In fact, NYC school groups receive free admission!
