Snowstorm, plunging temperatures hit Midwest, Northeast
NBC News: More than 90 million people are expected to be affected by a major snowstorm moving into the Midwest and Northeast Thursday night.
The storm could cancel more than 1,800 flights in the area and bring up to 10 inches of snow to New York City and bury New England in 18 inches.
Temperatures are expected to drop dramatically after the storm with low temperatures in Boston below zero and temperatures in Maine possibly dropping to minus 30.
