There is a lot going on in Ohio! This past Tuesday a group from around Ohio met with Rep. Beatty’s staff to share the NCPSSM’s stance and garner support.
Senator Sherrod Brown was joined by National Committee members Regina Duffey, Sam Burnett, Nancy Wells and State Director, Shawn Phetteplace, at a press conference on Monday. Senator Brown reiterated his strong opposition to cuts to Social Security and Medicare. In 2011, Senator Brown introduced a bill to increase the COLA to keep up with inflation, and has been a strong, determined leader for seniors, the disabled, and veterans. We appreciate the Senator’s support for these vital lifelines for millions of Ohioans.
